Last year, No.2 chose blue, silver and white to be the tree theme.  In 2008, No.1 chose pink and green, which proved a challenge, but ended up looking very pretty indeed.  This year it was my turn, and I decided to go for brown, bronze, copper and gold.

All those lovely buildings and happening youngsters made it suddenly look less genteel and more ... vibrant than I'd ever imagined it.
